Suitable projects

  • Kitchen and bath remodels
  • Interior demolition: drywall, trim, framing lumber
  • Flooring, carpet, and cabinetry removal
  • Rental property turnovers

Scheduling

Note your target delivery date and whether the project is recurring. A local rental company serving your town confirms the schedule; a request is not a reservation until confirmed.

Before you request delivery

  • Estimate heavy debris — shingles and tile add weight fast.
  • Confirm placement on site or check street-placement rules with the town.
  • Identify any approval-required materials.

Contractor questions

What happens if I exceed the included weight?

Includes up to 1 ton (2,000 lbs). Additional weight is charged at $0.09 per pound over 2,000 lbs. For example, 500 extra pounds adds $45. Weight limits explained.

What materials require approval?

Concrete, brick, asphalt, soil, roofing shingles, large amounts of tile or plaster, appliances, mattresses, and tires require approval. Hazardous materials, paint, chemicals, and batteries are not accepted. See what can go in a dumpster.

Do I need a permit?

It depends on your municipality and where the dumpster will sit. Placement on your own property often doesn't require one; street or sidewalk placement may. Confirm with your town. Placement and permits guide.
